For the welfare of the daughters of poor families in the state of Gujarat and for the purpose of providing financial assistance, “Kunvarbainu Mameru Yojana” has been running for a long time. In Kuvarbainu Mameru Yojna, assistance is paid directly to the daughters of the married ones through DBT in their bank accounts. This scheme is given to the girls of the Scheduled Caste category, socially and educationally backward classes, and economically weak families after their marriage. In this scheme, assistance of Rs. 12000/- (twelve thousand) is deposited directly in the bank account through DBT.

The standard of income limit
- Rural area: 1,20,000
- Urban area: 1,50,000
The benefit of the scheme is given on the occasion of marriage up to two adult brides of the family.
Rules of Kunwarbai’s Mameru Scheme
- The eligibility criteria for Kunwarbai’s Mamerun Yojana has been decided by the Gujarat Government. Which is as follows.
- Eligible to those who are natives of the state of Gujarat and are economically weak families.
- The benefit of kuverbai nu mameru yoajna will be available for the marriage of 2 (two) adult daughters in the family .
- Assistance will not be available under this scheme in case of remarriage of the beneficiary.
- The age of the bride should be 18 years and the age of the groom should be 21 years at the time of marriage.
- The marriage certificate form will have to be applied online within 2 years of marriage .
- The assistance of Kunwarbai’s Mameru scheme will be available in the program organized for seven rounds of group marriage.
- The beneficiary bride participating in community and other group marriages will be eligible to receive benefits under both the schemes if she fulfills all the conditions of the “Seven Round Group Marriage Scheme and Kunvarbai’s Mameru Scheme”.
Who will get benefit?
With the use of this govt. scheme all girls of ST/SC category get Rs- 5000 when they got married. From this amount Rs. 2000 is given to the girl’s parents/guardian for the daughter’s marriage and Rs. 3000 to a girl as a Kisan Vikas Patra.
Kuvarbainu Mameru Yojna Benefit
If a girl from an economically weak family in the state of Gujarat gets married, the Gujarat government used to pay an assistance of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand rupees) directly to the girl’s bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). This has been amended.
- If the couple got married after 01/04/2021, they will get Rs. 12,000/- (twelve thousand) under the kuvarbai mameru yojana .
- Couples married before 01/04/2021 will be eligible for Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) as per the old resolution.

- After filling the form, copy of the form and verification of evidence should be done by Mamlatdar office / Taluka Development Officer’s office / District Social Welfare Officer’s office (where you have been given authority in your taluka / district).
Kuvarbai Nu Mameru Yojana Apply Online
The facility of applying online has been created so that the poor and economically weak families of the remote areas of Gujarat do not have to visit the government office repeatedly. To take advantage of Kunvarbai’s Mameru scheme, e samaj kalyan portal has been created. Online application will have to be made from this portal. Which we will know through the following steps.

- In which, one has to click on the website of the Social Welfare Department for online application https://esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in/ .
- If you have not registered by going to the e-Samaj Kalyan portal, then you will have to go through the registration process by going to “New User? Please Register Here”.
- After successful registration, the beneficiary will have to open his/her page by clicking on e samaj kalyan “Citizen Login”.
- The schemes will be shown as per the caste declared by the beneficiary during registration.
- In which, you will have to go to the Kuvarbai Nu Mameru Yojana Online Form, fill in the details as requested and submit the online application.
